We have reluctantly returned from a glorious week with friends on Three Hummock Island.
The weather was mild and changeable. Some days the children were swimming and playing in the water, other days were occupied with fishing, abalone diving and seeking the elusive crayfish.
We were lucky on two counts - enjoying abalone entree with a few meals, and fish dinners. However, no crayfish this time.
Henri was happy, because the Easter bunny made his way across the wild sea to leave treats at his door. A successful holiday all round.

Three Hummock Island must be like a giant adventure playground and total boy heaven for the boys !

Loving these photos. I can smell the salt water from those craypots and feel that wind in Henri hair. My Father is a commercial cray fisherman and has fished all over Victoria and Tassie for years, including Queenscliff, Apollo Bay, King Island and San Remo. I think he has saltwater running through his veins. I however may be seen as a bit of a disapointment as I don't do so well at sea and I don't eat seafood, lucky me, he loves me anyway :)

What a beautiful, beautiful place - Tasmania really does deliver - I am getting homesick thinking about it. You are very brave to let us all in on the secret... !
