While baby sleeps

Adelaide and I have been packing orders this morning. She has been asleep in the Baby Bjorn carrier. Addressing envelopes over the top of her head is a little cumbersome, but when the orders mount up you do what you have to do.
I've been doing a little online shopping of my own this week. This wonderful tote from Elk Accessories was delivered to my door this morning.
Another thing that arrived on my doorstep earlier this week was a bunch of pink lilies for Adealaide and a divine little carrot cake with cream cheese frosting for me. It was dropped off by a friend who, no doubt, remembers all too well the insatiable hunger of the breast feeding mother. I can't tell you how excited I was to open the box and see that sweet little cake sitting there.
I'm off to have the last slice now.
elk have the best things. Love their packaging too!
Thank you for my Liberty. I can wait to use it, so much prettier in person.

what a gorgeous bag and what a lovely surprise on your doorstep!
I remember the hunger..I would eat a bag of choc chip cookies a day with the twins just as a snack! I never lose weight while feeding babies and it probably has something to do with all the cookies I'd eat!
enjoy those sweet days with a little baby!

Oh I know what you mean about the hunger, I remember with my second, Jack my husband, who works in the city, would pop in to a favourite patissery in Paddington (Sydney's Eastern suburbs), during his lunch hour, to get me some lovely french goodies and bring them home to me. We live in Killara (Upper North Shore)!!!
Oh how I miss those baby days.
