A moving target

Goodness me, Adelaide is proving a wily photography subject. She sees the camera come out and thinks it's time for a game of hide and seek.
The only way to keep her still in this case was feed her some fruit cake, which she's clutching in her little fist out of frame.
She was pretty happy that hide and seek involved food today.
I made this dress five months before she was born. It only occurred to me today that she has never worn it and will soon outgrow it. So although we have nowhere special to go today, she is dressed for a party.
That dress is gorgeous. I'm all for wearing party dresses at home, if the mood takes you!
Miss Wink is going through a similar stage with camera hide-and-seek. Quite a challenge...

Oh, Kristine! She is just divine. I love the warmth in her expressions. And the smocked dress is so pretty. I am excited that my India (nearly 3) is now wearing the smocked dresses my grandmother made for me nearly 40 years ago! They are so timeless. J x

I love the smocking! was thinking about smocking the other day - just thinking about it though. That material is fantastic, just what I am looking for. We have had a couple of nice days down this way, hope its a sign of things to come :-)

Isn't it lovely that little girls can dress up with nowhere to go? She looks simply beautiful.
